Measure your window
Takes about 5 minutes. We make sure you can't get it wrong, and back it with the Halo Fit Promise.
Before you start, grab:
- A metal tape measure. Avoid fabric ones, they stretch and give wrong numbers.
- Pen and paper. Or just keep this quiz open and type as you go.
- About 5 minutes. Take your time, it's worth it.
- Access to your window from inside. And something to stand on if it's tall.

Step 1: Measure the recess depth
Before width and height, we check the depth so Halo has room to fit. Minimum required: 3 cm (1.18 in).
Do you have any obstructions inside the recess?
Things like window handles, latches, locks, or cranks. It doesn't matter, Halo works with both.
Measure from the front edge of the recess to the window glass.
Step 2: Measure the width, three times
Hold the tape horizontally inside the recess. Once at the top, once at the middle, once at the bottom.
Why three times? Almost every time, all three numbers come out the same. Sometimes they differ by a few millimetres, no big deal. Three quick measurements just lets us be 100% sure your blind fits. No hassle on your side, peace of mind on ours.
ⓘ Include the mm too — every millimetre matters for a snug fit.
Step 3: Measure the height, three times
Hold the tape vertically inside the recess. Once on the left, once in the middle, once on the right.
Same reason as the width. Almost always identical, occasionally a few millimetres off. Three points takes ten seconds and means we know your blind will fit.
ⓘ Include the mm too — every millimetre matters for a snug fit.
Your Halo blinds are measured correctly.
Every step verified. Your blind will fit your window perfectly.
Write these down just in case.
